What we are

BodhyMovement is the name of a project born out of the needs and desires of three wellness disciplines teachers.

Every competent and passionate professionist knows by experience how his daily job at gyms end up inevitably in a sort of routine, well adjusted to the commercial aspect of his job but not really satisying on a personal level.

There is nothing wrong with that. In the market, you reply with an to offer to a demand.

But what to do, on the other hand, with all the ideas, methodologies, notions or simply sensations and experiences you gained during years of constant practice and learning?

Of course, you’d be glad to teach to (or at least share with) someone else: often they are the most valuable, personal and interesting part of what the professionist could offer, and nonetheless they risk to remain just a deposit of inexplorated resources.

It’s a shame, isn’t it?

Hence the question: couldn’t be instead a free zone, a space freed from the most immediate worries, where you could propose your own view of the activity you chose to teach for the sake of passion? Where you could give a personal and representative style to your work?

BodhyMovement born with the intention of giving a name to this fantasy which only with your help can gain some concreteness.

We can’t but bet on your betting on us, and thanking you for that.

BodhyMovement is already grateful to you.

Bodhy is just a word pun between Body (English) and Bodhi (Enlightenment or Awakening in Sanskrit), whose pronunciation is very similar if not the same.

It’s a name which effectively represent our approach to the physical activity, in which the performance is never severed from the sensation, and sensation in turn is never separated from reflection.

It’s our shared opinion this is the best and most complete approach to reach a global, personal wellbeing.

Moreover, the H is unperceivable in the pronunciation, but nonetheless is in the written name, in the same way in which movement, sensation and reflection are inextricably interwoven in the individual practice, but only its most exterior aspect is visible.

Alike, our approach is eminently practical, but strongly rooted in premises which try to capture the whole spectrum of physical activity, from its most visibile and objective aspects to its most unperceivable and subjective ones.

Our goal is to make our expertises available to our clients and to anyone is willing to learn, while constantly learning from them.

We’d like to transmit, through the practice and our initiatives, abilities and sklls which could be useful even outside our specific professional field.

We are sure everyone can learn a lot from physical activity, even if the most part of the learnable things is often overlooked.

This is our personal approach, and if it would have been different, we’r probably made many different choises.

We cannot wait to make it even yours, and you are the only one who can make it possible.

Who are we?
